About the Programme

IIIT Kottayam invites application towards the Institute Internship Program (Hybrid Mode), iINT-'24, from passionate and bright students from various institutes across India. This programme is created in such a way that the student will gain substantial knowledge, in the opted field, within a specific duration. In the course of their intemship at IIIT Kottayam, the intern has the chance to carry out novel research and contribute to development initiatives under the supervision ofresearch-oriented mentors. The intern has the option to engage with any ofthe research groups of IIIT Kottayam, in order to enhance their research experience and exposure to the research and innovative world.

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate - B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc./BCA etc.

OR Postgraduate - M.Tech./ME/M.Sc./MCA etc.

Internship Fee

• Programme Fee: ₹5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only)..

• Payment is to be done ONLINE only.

• Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Application Process

• The application is to be submitted online at the portal available on the homepage of IIIT Kottayam.

Documents required before registration

The student must be ready with the following documents before initiating the registration process.

1. Curriculum Vitae/Resume of the student.

2. Consent from the Mentor of IIIT Kottayam – Follow the procedure given below to obtain the Consent Form.

   Step 1: Students shall select a mentor from among the faculties working in the same area of interest and contact them through e-mail given in the Faculty Profile
   Step 2: Get consent from the mentor in the prescribed format.Click here

3. Bonafide Certificate and NoC from the Institute where the student has undergone/is undergoing the current course, in the prescribed format. Click here

How to Apply?

Step 1: Register online through https://internship.iiitkottayam.ac.in/

Step 2: Click on the “Register for Internship” button, and enter the details of the Intern.

Step 3: : Upload all the necessary documents.

Step 4: Once the registration is complete, a verification e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail. Click on the link provided in the email. The page will be automatically redirected to the login page. The Intern may login using the login credentials.

Fee Payment

Applicants can pay the fee through SBI Collect by following the steps below:

• Goto https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm
  Select: State -> Kerala, Type of Institution -> Educational Institution, Institution name -> IIIT Kottayam, Payment Category -> Institute Internship Fee
  

After payment, note down the transaction number(DU Number) and save the receipt as a pdf document. You will need to enter the transaction number(DU Number) during your application submission process.

• Only those who have successfully completed and submitted the Internship Report will be issued the E-internship certificate
